Zapier is an application used to connect various web services together in order to automate different tasks. For instance, with Zapier you can automatically convert your files in Google drive to another format and upload the files back to Google drive. PDF.co, on the other hand, is one of the most commonly used API for PDF, Barcodes, and Data extraction. Connecting Zapier with PDF.co can help you automate tasks like converting merging, splitting, converting, and PDF files into different formats, etc. In this article, you will see the steps to connect Zapier with PDF.co.
Step 1: Sign Up With Zapier
Go to https://zapier.com/sign-up/. Enter your work email, first name, and last name in the corresponding fields and click the “Sign Up” button.
Step 2: Navigate to My Apps and Select Pdf.co
From the Zapier Dashboard, click the My Apps option from the left menu bar. In the “My Apps” text field, enter “Pdf.co” and you should see a list of apps. Select “Pdf.co” from the list as shown in the following screenshot:
Step 3: Get your PDF.co API Key
Once you complete Step 2, you will see the following dialogue box.
Click here on the “click here to create your account” option to create your account with PDF.co and to get your API Key.
Once you create your PDF.co account or if you have already created your PDF.co account, you will see the following page:
Click on the “Your API Key” option. A dialogue box will appear containing your API key.
Copy the API Key and paste it in the API key field dialogue box from Zapier.
Click the “Yes Continue” button. The connection between Zapier.com and PDF.co will be established.
Step 4: Test the Connection
Your newly established connection will be shown in the list of “My Connections”. Click the “Test” button as shown in the following screenshot:
If the connection is successfully established, you will see the success message.
